Madeira: Coasteering Adventure with Snorkeling, w/pick-up

Chose this company for a more personal experience compared to some of the big tour operators. Afonso was responsive to questions related to the booking. The driver was Francisco, who was personable, accomodating, and friendly. He is an experienced guide. He gave lots of informative facts about Madeira, interspersed with some interesting anecdotes about his hobbies of mountain biking, motorbike riding and Motorcross racing! He was very reliable and safe when driving down the twisting and steep off roads. There was an appropriate amount of time to given to the various stops and the trip shows the main attractions of the Northwest coast of Madeira. This tour will be enjoyable for all.

Rock Climbing with Abi was a better experience than we could have ever asked for! The team was flexible and took into consideration our skill level, location needs and more. We were challenged and satisfied with everything we accomplished. The views were amazing and we felt entirely safe the whole time. Would highly recommend going an an adventure with this team!

We absolutely loved this tour of Madeira and will be booking again next time we return. Our guides Francisco and Rafael were so passionate and also very knowledgeable of the area. Francisco was a great driver and made us feel very safe whilst also enjoying the off road adventure. The tour was a perfect way to explore the island and there was enough time at every spot to take in the views and walk around. I would thoroughly recommend this company and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Me and my sister went on a wine tasting tour with Remote Madeira. It was a last minute decision but they were super flexible and made it happen. The guide, Francisco came to our hotel to pick us up, which was super convenient. That was our last day so Francisco made sure that he took us to some places that we had not seen before. Then we went to a beautiful winery where we got a little tour, then we got the chance to taste 6 types of their wines. They were the best wines I ever tasted. The guide also offered us to stop at a small local poncha bar, which was such a nice experience. He explained us everything about Madeira, the traditions, how they live there etc. I would highly recommend their tours if you wanna have fun and explore the island!

What an experience! This was our first time Coasteering and everything about it was breathtaking. We were a bit concerned the water might be too cold but the neoprene protect us and felt 0 cold. Whilst this experience is not for the faint-hearted, Marcos was calm, patient, very knowledgeable, funny and professional, making sure we all felt safe at every part of the activity. You don’t have to worry about bringing your own camera, Marcos has it covered! Whilst we saw some incredible sights in Madeira, our videos of cliff-jumping are what we keep watching over and over again! Important note: Marcos will always find you a smaller/alternative jump if jumping from a big height is not for you. You will be wearing a life jacket, helmet and we had a lifeguard with us making everything extra safe. 100% recommended activity! As Marcos would say... LET’S GO!!! SEND IT!!!!

Marcos was an excellent instructor! First time and he set us at ease. Lots of laughs, fun all around! This was an amazing experience, that I would do again and again. Recommend to all!

Skip the hassle of renting a car and just take a tour or a few with remote Madeira! I rented a car in Madeira but soon realized that the roads are much too difficult to navigate (narrow, steep, winding, you name it) and I wanted to relax on my vacation not be anxious thinking about driving. Our tour guide Francisco showed us so much that we never would have been able to see without a car including a hidden spot only a local would know about. The heights and the off roading definitely got our hearts beating fast, but we always knew we were safe! We only had time for a half day tour but I definitely wish we had more so if your booking with them set aside enough time for the full day. You won’t regret it!!!!!
